Trisetum spicatum (L.) Richt. s.l. Short-spiked alpine race, connected by intergradation w/ slender-spiked forms, usually of lower altitudes & shaded sites. This is Hultén's ssp. congdonii, det. W. A. Weber, 1995. Original ID: Trisetum spicatum (L.) Richt. Needle Mt. Quadrangle.
