Locality: United States, Arizona, La Paz, 7.5' Crossroads quad, 11N0764410E3782120N; Buckskin Mts., W of Gibraltar Mt. Wilderness, ca 1 mi SW of Mammon Mine; AZ upland division of Sonoran Desertscrub Formation.
Habitat: In dry desert wash; tertiary volcanics.
Associated Species: Cercidium cf. floridum, Lycium cf. andersonii, Larrea tridentata, Encelia farinosa, Camissonia brevipes, Chaenactis carphoclinia, Eriogonumm deflexum var. insigne, Calycoseris wrightii, Lotus tomentellus.
Description: Plant annual, flowers violet; abundant.
