United States, Colorado, Bent, 4.6 miles southeast of Las Animas (Hwy. 101). Purgatoire River.

Georeference Remarks:
I plotted the UTM 4.6 miles southeast along HWY 101 from HWY 50.
Habitat:
Lowest slopes of irrigated valley floor. Soil sandy, very light, arid. Locally abundant.
Reproductive Condition:

Notes:
Perennial, 1-10 stems from the base, these to 2 cm. in diameter at base. Just beginning to flower. Juice lemon yellow.
