Level slope, level exposure. Associated species: Pseudotsuga menziesii, Picea pungens, Pinus ponderosa, Populus angustifolia. Limber pine rather scarce in stand.
Veg
Habit: Straight, narrow crown. Hgt. 20 ft., DBH 6½ in., bark silver-gray, slightly rugose above, smooth toward top of young tree. No cones.
