Level slope. Associated species: Much Pinus ponderosa, some Pseudotsuga menziesii, Populus tremuloides and Juniperus scopulorum.
Veg
Straight w/ a fairly wide, spreading crown. Hgt c. 30ft., DBH 14½ in., Bark dark gray and rugose on bole, silver-gray and smooth above. Many new cones present. Tree sampled was one of a scattered few on edge of a meadow; many more on S-facing slope above.
