Near summit ridge of SW facing, 40 ft high broken cliffs in exposed, windy site. Cercocarpus montanus-Holodiscus dumosus community and with Symphoricarpos rotundifolia, Sabina scopulorum, Juniperus communis. Tree 20 ft. tall, relatively common locally & widespread at higher elev. Precambrian quartz monzonite, adamellite, quartz substrate. 7.5' Harvard Lakes Quad.
