Very steep slope, W exposure. Almost pure stand of limber pine, a very few young Pinus contorta present.
Veg
Habit: Straight, narrow crown, sparse foliage. Hgt. 40 ft., DBH 12½ in., bark dark gray tinged with red on trunk, somewhat rugose, silvery and smooth on younger branches. Fair number of old and green cones. Evidence of fire throughout stand.
