Steep slope, S exposure. Associated species: Abies concolor, Pinus ponderosa, Populus tremuloides, Picea engelmannii.
Veg
Habit: Tall, very straight, foliage very sparse, crown narrow. Hgt. 80 ft., DBH 33 in., reddish bark. Saw only one cone.
