Habitat: In Pinus edulis- Sabina osteosperma community along dry creek-bed and on adjacent floodplain, with Psoralidium lanceolatum, Packera multilobata, Astragalus thompsonae, Ipomopsis congesta var. frutescens. Quaternary wind deposited sand and silt.
Reproductive Condition: Pollen cone
Occurrence Remarks: 20ft. tree with trunk bore >1ft. diameter; relatively common. 7.5' Gateway quad, NAD27.
