Habitat: In saturated mud of drying abandoned beaver pond with Hectonia sclerata, Epilobium cilliatum, Ranunculus hyperboreus ssp. intertextus, Batrachium circinatum ssp. rigidum, Limosella aquatica; locally common.
Reproductive Condition: Flr & Frt
Occurrence Remarks: Prostrate, rooting at nodes; flowers violet blue. Substrate boundary between Leadville Limestone and Minturn - Belden Formation. 7.5' Jones Hill quad.
