Mentzelia multicaulis var. uintahensis N.H. Holmgren and P.K. Holmgren, det. N.H. Holmgren, 6 Dec. 2002. Original ID as Nuttallia (Mentzelia cf. sanjuanensis). Forming densely rounded clumps; petals 10: 5 large and 5 small, all conspicuously narrow-clawed. No staminodes. Many stamens.
