Steep SW-facing slope on N side of road. Loose, rocky soil. Scattered Artemisia, Chrysothamnus. Common at base of slope. Elev. 1705-1715 m.

Additional TRS: SEC8 N½ of NE¼ of NW¼. Lat./Long. det. from topo map. Leaves and stem glaucous. Corolla blue distally, purple proximally; each petal with 3 purple lines, lateral two extending to end of tube, medial extending 1-3 mm into limb.
