Habitat: Common in openings in the high chaparral.
Reproductive Condition: Flr & Frt
Occurrence Remarks: Lips very dark blue, throat blue tinged with purple, tube purple, whitish at very base. Anthers blue-black, filaments all purplish, the sterile one with yellow-brown beard. Glands white, perhaps due to dust.
