Locality: United States, Colorado, Las Animas, Mesa de Maya. In gap between east and west sections on Willard Louden Ranch NE of Branson. N-facing slope of Phillips (Hardesty) Canyon between Kelly and Nestor branches.

Occurrence Remarks: Prosopis glandulosa var. glandulosa, det. B.B. Simpson, 2003. Known to Louden family from time of original homestead (1901-2).This is the 1st herbarium record for CO since Greene collected it in midwinter "in mts. between Purgatory and Apishapa, 30 mi N of state line" on Jan.21 1880. Cobert Mesa North Quad.
