On margin of large mesic meadow bounded by open forest of Pinus aristata and Populus tremuloides; with Erigeron eximius, Helianthella quinquenervis, Arnica cordifolia, Valeriana edulis; relatively common, scattered. Holocene & Pleistocene solifluction debris of andesite & granite.
