Alpine fellfield summit & ridge near summit on steeply tipped slabs with ca. 50% veg. cover. Associates include Phlox condesta, Eritrichum aretioides, Oreoxis bakeri, Androsace septentrionalis, Besseya alpina, Primula angustifolia, Potentilla sp., Trifolium dasyphyllum, Lloydia serotina. Occasional. Lower member of Sangre de Cristo Form. (red arkose sandstone, conglomerate ss. siltstone & shale).
