Only a few plants locally, occasional elsewhere in barren rocky soil. SE. facing 27° slope along trail, in fairly dense, young aspen forest with understory of Arctostaphylos uva-ursi, Chamerion danielsii, Achillea lanulosa, Fragaria virginiana....
