Gently sloping meadow ounded by Pinus aristata - Picea engelmannii - Populus tremuloides subalpine forest, in rocky soil near huge ant hill w/ Festuca thurberi, Poa secunda, Antennaria rosea, Oxytropis splendens. Large patch locally & occas. along 4WD rd. Mississippian sediments.

7.5' South Peak Quad. Plants rhizomatous, stems decumbent - ascending, flowers nodding & greenish-yellow, pods trangular in cross-section, sulcate dorsally.
