United States, Colorado, Fremont, Coaldale, Sangre de Cristo Range. Found in unnamed creek drainage from the north side of the South Prong of Hayden Creek, just west of the Rainbow Trail crossing bridge over the South Prong Hayden Creek.

Mixed Aspen, Douglas Fir, and Pondersoa Pine forest, Ferns found above creek in areas less wet than creek side.
