Locally common. In saturated mud of drying abandoned beaver pond with Hectonia sclerata, Epilobium ciliatum, Veronica americana, Ranunculus hyperboreus ssp. intertextus.

7.5' Jones Hill quad. Stoloniferous, daughter plants radiating out from mother plant; flowers inconspicuous, white. Substrate boundary between Leadville Limestone and Minturn-Belden Formation.
