Habitat: Growing in shale. A locally common, erect, & much-branched, short-lived perennial herb.

Reproductive Condition: Flr

Notes: Cover Mountain 7.5' Quad. "Elongated Mustard". 2-3 ft tall, reportedly often becoming a tumbleweed at maturity: Class A noxious weed. Growing from a carrot-like taproot two to three inches long, and a basal rosette. Flowers yellow.
