Habitat: Weedy, grazed, somewhat scrubby ridgetop and NW-facing sandstone bluffs. Scattered pinyon and juniper; gambel oak and serviceberry common. Rocky, sandy, frequently barren soil.
Reproductive Condition: Flr
Occurrence Remarks: Scattered. Bracts and calyx bright red distally, greenish purple proximally. Corolla greenish; upper lip with red margin. Lat./Long. det. from topo map.
