Habitat: Precambrian granodiorite to quartz monzonite substrate. Gravelly disturbed area in dry, grassy meadow between creek and open Pinus ponderosa forest on slope and SW facing cliffs.

Occurrence Remarks: With dominants, Chondrosum gracile, Carex stenophylla, Chrysothamnus sp., Cercocarpus montanus and with Artemisia frigida; flowers tiny, white; locally common. 7.5' Harvard Lakes quad
