Habitat: Among rock outcroppings, boulders at crest of ridge, soil moist, loose loam plants not forming clumps, flowers appearing much larger, broader than the nearby 548. Plants heavily infested with ants.
Reproductive Condition: Flr
Occurrence Remarks: Originally identified as Mertensia viridis. Thesis voucher. Floral material removed by Nicole Miller-Struttmann for pollination study. U. Missouri. March-April, 2014 UMO.
