Habitat: In grassy alpine field above stand of bristlecone pine, w/ Potentilla sp. Plants occurring as scattered small clumps in sheltered more mesic sites among boulders, rock outcroppings, soil deep, moist.
Reproductive Condition: Flr
Occurrence Remarks: Originally identified as Mertensia viridis var. parvifolia. Thesis voucher. Floral material removed by Nicole Miller-Struttmann for pollination study. U. Missouri. March-April, 2014 UMO.
