Habitat: Extensive population along steep hillside, plants occurring in small clumps with Potentilla, Geum, Polemonium. Soil sandy, rocky, wind-exposed.
Reproductive Condition: Flr
Occurrence Remarks: Originally identified as Mertensia viridis var. parvifolia. Thesis voucher. Ca. 50 ft. above 563, individual plants more widely scattered than 563.
