United States, Colorado, Logan, About 16 miles north and 6 miles west of Sterling. Growing between hills known as "Molly" and "Mable" about 1/2 mile north of Flattop Butte.

I placed the point in between the summits of Mable and Molly, approx. 19.7 miles NNW of the GNIS point for Sterling, at an elevation of 4355 ft. VD; Georeferenced 10 September 2015
Growing in rocky soil on hillside. Common; associated species include Phlox andicola, Calylophus lavandulifolius, Astragalus spatulatus, and Hymenoxys acaulis.
