Under Juniperus osteosperma in gritty, sandy slope at edge of drainage floodplain with Penstemon utahensis, Gutierrezia sp., Cryptantha pterocarya, Boechera selbyi, B. pulchra, Anisantha tectorum, Ellisia nyctalea, Vulpia octaflora. Common and widespread. Permian Cutler Form.
