Gnaphalium stramineum HBK, det. by W. A. Weber 1978. Orig. ID as Gnaphalium chilense. Grown from seedling collected in fall of 1958 by Mrs. Russell Scott. Planted in a pot, the plant produced a profusion of rosettes, and came into bloom in April, 1959.
